WHAT IS Our ROOTS-A-THON?
It is the most FUN fundraiser of the year! We have made some big changes to our annual event. Stay tuned for a full description of our ROOTS-A-Thon. Think Decathlon! It's going to be incredible! In addition, by being active participants in collecting funds for this event, students get to learn what it means to "give back" and lead a life of philanthropy.
The FUNDS raised by the Walk-A-Thon help CWC Silver Lake Middle School provide:
- Maintain Small Classes
- Whole Child Learning
- Social Emotional Learning
- Differentiated Learning
- Enhanced Teacher Coaching
- Build leadership capacity for 6-8th Grade Program
- Art & Drama
- Many Exciting Student Centered Electives
